HelpSupport

Questions, problems, and everything in between.

Every message reaches a person

support@dresd.app

Dresd is made by a small team. Write to us here or use the form below — both arrive in the same inbox.

If something is broken, telling us your device, the app version (Settings, at the very bottom) and what you were doing when it happened gets you a real answer much faster.

№ 01Contact us

Tell us what’s going on.

We only use what you write here to answer you.

Or write to support@dresd.app — the same inbox.

№ 02Account and sign-in

Getting back in.

I forgot my password.

In the app, tap “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. We email you a short code, you enter it, and you set a new password. On the web, use the password reset page, which emails you a reset link instead. Reset codes and links expire, so request a fresh one if it’s been a while.

The reset email never arrived.

Check your spam folder first — the mail comes from noreply@mail.dresd.app. If it still isn’t there, the address may have a typo, or you may have signed up with Google instead of a password. Write to us and we’ll tell you which account exists.

Dresd says my email is already registered.

That usually means you created the account through Google sign-in. Use “Continue with Google” with the same address and you’ll land in the account you already have.

I want to change my email address.

There’s no self-serve way to swap the address on an account yet. Write to us from the address the account uses and tell us the new one, and we’ll sort it out with you.

№ 03Subscriptions and billing

Paid through your store.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so cancellation happens in your store account. On iPhone: Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Dresd — or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. On Android: the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions — or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your paid features until the period you already paid for runs out.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by whichever store took the payment. For Apple, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google, use your Play order history. We can’t issue store refunds ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we’ll help where we can.

I paid but the app still shows the free plan.

Open Settings, then Subscription, and tap “Restore purchases” — that re-checks your purchase with the store. Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple or Google account that paid. If it still looks wrong, email us with the date of the charge and we’ll fix it from our side.

Does Dresd see my card details?

No. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only the fact that a subscription is active and when it renews.

№ 04AI credits and limits

When the stylist does the thinking.

What are AI credits?

Anything that asks the AI to think — generating outfits, reading a photo of a garment, judging a purchase, a stylist conversation — costs credits. Ordinary use of your closet (adding items by hand, marking laundry, browsing) is free and unlimited.

Where do I see how much I’ve used?

Settings, then “Usage & limits”. It shows your plan, how many credits you’ve used and what each action costs. On a paid plan it also shows the date your allowance refreshes. A free account has no refresh date — its credits are a one-off starter allowance rather than a monthly one.

I ran out of credits.

On a paid plan your allowance refreshes automatically on the date shown on the Usage & limits screen, and a higher plan raises the monthly budget if you need more headroom sooner. The 50 credits a new account starts with are a one-off — they don’t refresh, so subscribing is the way to carry on. Either way, everything that doesn’t need AI keeps working normally.

The AI got something wrong.

It happens — please tell us. Use “Send feedback” in Settings, or the form above. Reports about bad outfit suggestions or misread photos are the most useful thing you can send us.

№ 05Your data

Yours to take, or to delete.

How do I export my data?

In the app: Settings, then “Data & privacy”, then “Request export”. We prepare a copy of your wardrobe, outfits and profile and email you when it’s ready.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings, then “Data & privacy”, then “Delete account”. Without the app, use the account deletion page. Deletion removes your closet, photos, outfits and profile — it cannot be undone. If you only want to start over, “Wipe data” on the same screen empties your closet but keeps the account.

What happens to the photos I upload?

They’re stored so your closet has pictures in it, and a photo you add is analysed to work out what the garment is. Deleting an item deletes its photo. The privacy policy covers what we store and why.

Why does Dresd ask for camera, photo and location access?

Camera and photo access exist so you can add clothes by scanning or photographing them; nothing is uploaded until you add an item. Location is used only to fetch the local forecast so recommendations match the weather — you can type a city instead, and you can change your mind in your device settings at any time.
