Privacy policy

When you create an account, we collect:

• Username and display name
• Email address
• Password (encrypted and hashed)

We also automatically collect technical data such as browser type, device information, IP address, and usage analytics.

Diagnostics: when the mobile app crashes or hits an unexpected error, we collect a diagnostic report containing:

• The error and its stack trace
• The app version and build number
• Your device model and operating system version
• The screen you were on when it happened
• Your account id

These reports never include your photos, your wardrobe contents, your messages, or the contents of any request. You can turn crash diagnostics off — see Your Privacy Rights below.

• Providing and operating our services
• Authenticating users and maintaining accounts
• Analyzing usage patterns to improve the service
• Sending important service announcements
• Preventing fraud and enforcing terms of service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, and as required by law.

Crash diagnostics are processed on our behalf by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), our error-monitoring provider. Those reports are stored in the European Union (Frankfurt) and are used only to diagnose and fix faults in the app. See Sentry's privacy policy.

We use cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can manage your preferences on our Privacy Preferences page.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us at support@dresd.app to exercise these rights. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time at dresd.app/delete-account.

You can turn crash diagnostics off at any time in the mobile app under Settings, then Data & Privacy. Turning it off stops collection immediately. Crash reports we already hold are retained for 30 days and then deleted automatically, including after you delete your account.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure password hashing, and role-based access controls.
